Powersolo are back with an incisive album !!!
12 songs, 30 minutes: just like in the good old days...
BLOODSKINBONES : 100% blood, skin, tendons, nerves and muscles but not a single milligram of fat on this squeleton.
A music completely in phase with the brothers Jeppesen's bodies featured on the album cover. Brothers Railthin aka Kim Kix and Atomic Child are now a duo, their drummer JC Benz is not on drums anymore but does his share by lending his studio to record the album. 3 men in a room, a drum-kit and 2 guitars for a dozen sings that will you smack you right in the face (harm fully intended).
POWERSOLO, this it just it!
Since the release 3 years ago of their last studio album "Egg", the band haven't stopped touring either on their own or with their alter ego Heavy Trash (Jon Spencer and Matt Verta-Ray). 4 tours in the USA, 2 in the UK, France, Benelux, Germany, Iceland, Sweden and Norway, and many more in Denmark their homeland. They have honestly earned this incomparable reputation of genuine and intense stage beasts.
Powersolo also recorded a song for film Himmerland (2008), and contributed to the tribute album for legendary producer Joe Meel. The band also turned into a backing band for the recording of 2 albums by Heavy trash. Cherry on the cake, brothers Kim and Bo recorded the first album by "Kim and the cinders" released in August 2008.
However it is still with Powersolo, that the unique style unique of the 2 brothers is best expressed. A music above any other, still unpretentious, Powersolo blur all tracks and trace their own way aside established conventions.
Now, just let yourself dive into this uncommon universe, play BLOODSKINBONES on your stereo, turn the volume up and pray for Atomic Child Bo and acolyte Kim Kix guarantee a journey you're not about to forget...
