Third in the series, "No Snare" is a little jewel of creativity. Delicate and grandiose at the same time, it is the logical sequel to "The Soft and The Hardcore" (2006) and "Wider" (2007). More tribal and R&B (the US-top-of-the-charts-divas now have a French little sister…), "No Snare" is also more intimate. The voice has matured and got nicely surrounded by either disciplined and cheeky backing vocals. Mélanie Valera, born in Bordeaux and based in Portland, USA surely knows how to treat our ears...
