The initiative is original enough to be underlined. Just when Dancehall is the new big sensation in Jamaica, a band decided to launch a real, pure, genuine, authentic roots project. Les Rootz Underground, as they are named, have chosen a less fashionable style and a more complicated route to reach the recognition on their fellow citizens.
After the début album « Movement » which revealed them in 2008, follow by second album « Gravity » in 2010 which made a huge buzz among the critics, the Rootz Underground have toured European and French stages. A first 22-date tour in France as supporting act for band Danakil gave them the opportunity to record this superb Live record. Two other tours in the Spring and Summer allowed them to assert their reputation and become the revelation of the new Reggae Roots sound from Jamaica !!!
